Good for business, few small snags

I set up a World Account recently for my online store, mainly to handle marketplace collections from Amazon. The process of linking my store was pretty straightforward, and getting local bank details for USD and EUR was a huge plus. The exchange rates are definitely competitive, better than what my traditional bank offered. My only minor gripe was that verifying some of the initial documents took a bit longer than I expected, which delayed my first bulk payment. Customer service was helpful when I called, but it would be great if the initial setup was a little faster. Overall, good value for money, just a small improvement needed on onboarding speed.

Good value for first transfer

I was looking to send money internationally and found WorldFirst. I used a new account offer that gave me a fee-free transfer on my first go. It made a real difference in the amount received on the other end, definitely felt like good value for money. The setup for the World Account was pretty straightforward too. Happy with the savings.

Reliable for marketplace collections

I've been using WorldFirst for my e-commerce business for about a year now, mainly for marketplace collections from Amazon. This last transfer was just as smooth as the others. I've got a World Account and use the local bank details for USD and EUR, which has always worked out well. The exchange rates are consistently competitive compared to others I've checked. It's why I keep coming back. Had a minor question about a batch payment once, and support got back to me pretty fast. It just works, which is what I need.

Super easy money transfer

Okay so I needed to send money to a supplier in China for some inventory, and my friend told me about WorldFirst. I used their cross-border transfers and honestly, it was way simpler than I thought it would be. I got a pretty decent rate for CNH too, which was cool. The whole website was easy to figure out, and it just got done without any drama. Definitely using them again next time, saved me a headache with my bank.

Consistent service, easy transfers

I've used WorldFirst for a while now, mostly for international payments to suppliers. This last transfer, a large GBP payment, went just as smoothly as all the others. I know exactly what to expect with their exchange rates and transfer times, which is why I keep coming back. The World Account dashboard always makes it easy to track, and it arrived two days earlier than the tracking said it would. It's really reliable for my e-commerce business, which is key.

Are there any current sign-up bonuses for new businesses? Like, if I open an account now, can I get some free transfers or a cash bonus?

R Rachel Brooks 1 month ago
Sometimes they do. I got a referral bonus when I signed up. Try looking for a referral link or code online, that's usually how it works.

N Neil 1 month ago
They often have those 'first transfer free' or a cash bonus after your first qualifying transfer. It's usually through a special link, not a promo code you type in later, so check that before signing up.

Hey, wondering how long transfers usually take with WorldFirst? Need to send some money to a supplier in China pretty quick.

O Omar 2 months ago
Yeah, I've used them a bunch. If it's a major currency pair, often next day or two. But China can sometimes add a day or two more, depends on their banks.

Mine was like 2 business days for a EUR transfer last month. Way faster than my old bank.

I'm looking at WorldFirst vs Wise for my international payments. Anyone have experience with both and can say which one is better for an e-commerce biz?

D Dana C. 2 months ago
I switched from Wise to WorldFirst for my Amazon FBA payments because WorldFirst integrates better with marketplaces and the support felt more geared towards businesses. Rates are competitive on both, but WorldFirst just felt more specialized.

Depends on your volume really. Wise is good for smaller, more frequent stuff. WorldFirst might be better if you're dealing with larger amounts and need specific local accounts for multiple currencies. Their FX risk management stuff is also a plus if you need it.

How do their exchange rates compare to like, Wise or Payoneer? Trying to figure out which one gives the best deal.

S Shane 2 months ago
I've found WorldFirst to be pretty competitive, especially for larger amounts. Sometimes Wise is a tiny bit better for really small stuff, but for business transfers, WF usually wins for me.

It really depends on the currency and the day, honestly. Always worth checking all three before you commit. But WF is usually up there, they have pretty tight margins.

Does anyone know if WorldFirst charges monthly fees for their business accounts? Or is it just per transfer?

M Mia Romero 2 months ago
Nah, no monthly fees, which is pretty sweet. You just pay on the transfers and exchange rate stuff.

I've had my account for a year now and haven't seen any monthly charges. Just gotta watch the exchange rates and transfer fees.
